Description:
The Brazilian Space Program has set focus on the implementation of a micro-gravity platform for experimental studies. Retrievable satellites are one of the possible micro-gravity environments. In order to retrieve a satellite, it is necessary to research aerothermodynamics of atmospheric reentry, as well as the materials thermal protection dynamics. This project is based on the UFSC/ITA institutional cooperation for mutual development of space research and researchers, particularly regarding atmospheric reentry.
