19. Heat pipe Laboratory and Equipment Development with Heat Pipe Technologies for use in Natural Gas Cooking Ovens

Description:
This project has the following objectives: to build a national reference Heat Pipe Laboratory; to develop thermal devices using heat pipe technologies to improve natural gas usage; to build physical installations and provide infra-structure for the Heat Pipe Laboratory inside Mechanical Engineering Department; to provide technical support to the conversion kit to replace electric power with natural gas in industrial bread baking ovens; to develop a thermosyphon conversion kit to replace electric power with natural gas in pizza ovens and to design more thermally efficient equipment for the food industry, in order to dry biscuit and pasta.
