9. Application of the Heat Pipe Technology to Multi-fuel Industrial Equipments - FLEXTER

Description:
The main objective of this project is to apply the Heat Pipe Technology to industrial equipments
which are energetically flexible, i.e., which can burn more than one type of fossil fuel. Three
specific equipments are under development:
- Low Pressure Saturated Steam Generators that may be powered by any waste hot flue gas available
in the industry.
- Fabric Dryer that may be powered by either natural gas or any other fossil fuel.
- Multi-fuel Hot Air Generator for continuous biscuit oven that may be powered by either natural
gas or any other fossil fuel.
